Flint Hills Festival

Experience the culture and beauty of the Flint Hills at our FREE annual community festival.
Live entertainment, food trucks, wine tastings, children’s activities, community groups, and more will all be on display at this celebration of our beautiful region! Admission to the Flint Hills Discovery Center and Blue Earth Plaza is free during the festival thanks to funding from the Dean Coughenour Trust.
During the festival, guests who pay regular admission can also see the FHDC’s temporary exhibit, Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed, where kids can get hands-on with fun dinosaur activities. This traveling exhibit closes the very next day.
Regular admission rates apply for indoor exhibits: $10 for adults (18-64 years old), $8 for military, students, educators, or seniors, $5 for youth (2-17 years old), free for children under two years old. FHDC Members are always free.
