RILEY COUNTY, KANSAS JOB DESCRIPTION
|Position Summary: To provide clerical assistance to department and to assist customers.
As assigned by Department Head.
|Experience: Experience with zoning and environmental health related concepts and terminology helpful. Land use background preferred. Electronic permit system experience preferred.|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
|Education -High school graduate or GED required. Knowledge of modern office practices, business English, spelling, and math. Knowledge of modern office equipment. Basic computer skills required. The ability to perform basic mathematical computations, and follow both written and oral instructions.
Skills – Competent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with the public, advisory boards, other agencies, and other county staff. The ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally. Proficiency in word-processing applications and creating spreadsheets required.
