Try our StoryWalk® Indoors featuring Be a King by Carole Boston Weatherford. The story is inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and it encourages readers to “be a king” as we strive to make the world a better place. For this activity, visit the Children’s Room at the library any time. Start at the children’s staff desk to pick up a coloring page, and look for the numbered signs around the Children’s Room. Read pages as you walk around to stations from 1-15 and visit the desk when you are done for a small prize. Available during open library hours.
