The Downtown Business Improvement District (DBID) was put in place to develop and protect our Downtown and serve the businesses and patrons of Downtown Manhattan. The services the DBID funds go toward include:

    • Working with property owners and well-vetted potential business owners to fill vacant spaces

Each Downtown business or business space is billed annually for their DBID fee. Downtown businesses and property owners can expect to receive a bill in January from the City of Manhattan. Payments are due to the City of Manhattan by 5:00 PM on Friday, March 1st. For more information about the 2024 BID assessment, click here.

*Please note, the city’s DBID Advisory Board has increased the 2024 fees by 3% across the board.
