Downtown Manhattan is home to three unique art spaces that celebrate local creativity in unexpected places. These non-traditional galleries are tucked among neighborhood businesses, making art an everyday experience for visitors and locals alike.
Free and open to the public during business hours, each space offers a chance to pause, reflect, and enjoy the talents of our local artists. Exhibiting artists keep 100% of any sales, and we’re proud to offer these spaces commission-free.
These installations and spaces were made possible thanks to the generosity of Blake Bauer, owner of Icon Investments.
409 Art Space is a non-traditional art space located among local businesses. Journey down the hallway to enjoy scenes from local muralists and exhibits from local artists. This art space is free and open to the public.
The three large murals were completed in September 2023 by Heather Hnizdil, Jenny Tucker O’ Konski, and Robert Hubbard and were made possible by United Bank & Trust.
The Children of Manhattan murals were designed by Jennifer Hudson and painted by children who attended Third Thursdays in 2022 and were made possible by United Bank & Trust.
