Art Unplugged – Session #2

June 18 @ 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

🗓 Wednesday, June 18, 2025 | 🕠 5:30–7:00 PM
📍 Manhattan Public Library Auditorium
🎟 Free & open to all | Light refreshments served
Join us for the second installment of Art Unplugged!—a raw, authentic, and behind-the- scenes look at the world of art in Manhattan – stripped of pretense and formalities. This is a lively bi-monthly series spotlighting the voices, stories, and work of local artists. This session features an exciting conversation between Traci Brimhall (Poet Laureate of Kansas) and Kelly Yarbrough (Visual Artist), as they dive into their recent collaboration for The Memory Palace, exhibited at the Manhattan Arts Center.
💬 Hear how their creative partnership began, what inspired them, and what they learned along the way. Tracy will read selections of her poetry, and Kelly will share the illustrations that bring those words to life.
Whether you’re into art, poetry, or just curious about the creative process—this is a chance to connect with two brilliant minds and your local arts community.
✨ Come for the conversation, stay for the inspiration. Bring a friend!
