“Strange Connections: from the Great Plains to Scotland” with Jim Richardson

National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson will present his reflection on rural values and connection to landscape, by way of comparing rural Kansas with the Highlands and islands of Scotland.

Richardson will discuss that the power of human connections forged in shared adversity are universal, whether on the windblown Kansas prairie or the remote islands in the Outer Hebrides.

Richardson, who lives in Lindsborg, Kansas, is an acclaimed National Geographic photographer whose work recounts life on the Great Plains of Kansas.
